Swostishree Gurukul IB World School is an IB PYP authorized school to offer IB PYP Programme which caters learners of age 3-12 years or PG to grade 5. Early years at SG follow the same standards, practices and pedagogy of IB PYP that is inquiry based teaching and learning which is inspired by play based learning and Reggio Emilia approach where the young learners are provided a real world environment where they can feel, interact and explore.

Early years learners need stimulating, supportive interactions with their peers and teachers and the effective use of curricula. The early years settings of the Primary Years Programme (PYP) provides schools with a thoughtfully designed way to give 3 to 5 year olds exactly that. 

Early years young learners are intelligent, resourceful and creative individuals who grow, develop and learn at different rates. They explore their environment and learn about their world through play and relationships with peers, teachers, family and community members. Early learning in the Swostishree Gurukul is a holistic learning experience that integrates socio-emotional, physical and cognitive development. In our classroom, it takes place in dynamic environments that promote play, discovery and exploration.

Swostishree Gurukul IB World School (Early Years Block)  is equipped resourceful and spacious classrooms, attractive outdoor space and greenery play ground with all the early years playing stuffs, play room, nap room, garden, sand pit, mini dining hall, AV room, neat and clean washrooms which are child’s friendly and most importantly all the early years teachers are early years trained educator. Teachers receive regular international and in house IB training.
