Dear parents and students,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Swostishree Gurukul IB World School, where we strive to provide the best possible education and support for our students.

As an experienced educator, I have had the privilege of working in various educational settings over the years. However, it was during my time as an IB educator that I truly discovered the value and impact of an IB education. In both the IB PYP and IB MYP programmes, I witnessed students develop into critical thinkers, life-long learners, and problem solvers.

At SG, we are committed to providing our students with an education that focuses on knowledge through conceptual understanding and the development of skills, such as ATL skills, that will prepare them for success in the competitive world of today and tomorrow.

We believe that education is not only about creating well-informed individuals but also about creating good human beings who have the ability to positively impact their communities and the world. Through our IB programmes, students are empowered to take action to solve both local and global challenges by applying their conceptually understood knowledge and life skills like self-management, social skills, communication, research, and critical thinking.

I am confident that after completing the IB programmes at SG, your child will have evolved into a confident individual with strong knowledge and mastered skills. They will be able to survive anywhere in this world and solve any problems independently. Most importantly, they will have developed into a good human being with attributes such as being knowledgeable, inquiring, caring, principled, balanced, courageous, communicative, open-minded, and reflective.
